Welcome to this delicious 3 ingredient Slimming World Keema Curry In The Slow Cooker. Because there is just 3 simple ingredients in this recipe it means that preparation takes less than 1 minute and you could put this on before you go to work for a delicious evening meal.
When we made this was in early April. We were in the middle of recipe testing loads of cheesecakes for the blog. It felt like we were a restaurant with lots of different stations doing lots of different things.
Jorge was in the corner chewing on one of his teddies wondering if the teething would ever go away.
Kyle was in charge of the biscuit style base. He was supposed to be melting the butter in the pan and adding the broken digestive biscuits. Though he was more into his phone and the butter was starting to burn…
Sofia was sat on the floor licking out one of the measuring cups and hoping that nobody had spotted what she was up to and that she had stolen it from the worktop when nobody was looking!
I was whisking the full fat Philadelphia into the white sugar (yes I know super bad for me) and then gradually adding the other ingredients.
And Dominic was making sure that the different cheesecakes were cooking correctly in the Airfryer and the Instant Pot and basically covering the job of Head Chef.
Our Airfryer and Instant Pot were both on cooking cheesecakes, the soup maker was steaming Jorges lunch and it was 11am and we needed lunch. And it had to be something healthy to make up for the fact that we were all stuffing our faces with cheesecakes.
So I got my old battered and bruised slow cooker out of the cupboard and threw into it just 3 ingredients. Minced beef, tinned tomatoes and a sachet of this spice blend. Gave it a very quick mix round with my hand, put it on high and left it to it.
Then when the soup maker had finished we used it for some jacket potatoes. Fast forward three hours when we were all tired from all this cheesecake making and we sat and ate jacket potatoes stuffed with Slimming World Keema Curry. It was one of those moments when you just couldn’t believe that food could taste so good when only 3 ingredients were used. But it did and you could.
All in all this was amazing dish to make from just a few items and so low in calorie and Syns too. So if you want a quick Slimming World meal that is incredibly low in Syns then try this as it is a serious time saver.
Plus we were shocked recently to see loads of 3 ingredient slow cooker recipes where the ingredients were all processed foods, where as with this it is super healthy and still super easy!3 Ingredient #SlimmingWorld #Keema #Curry In The Slow Cooker #Recipe via recipe_thisClick To Tweet
Place the mince, tinned tomatoes and ½ of the spice blend pack into your Slow Cooker. Mix with your hands.
Place it on high and cook for 2.5 hours.
It lists brown sugar among its ingredient list. Brown sugar is just 2 Syns per heaped teaspoon. But the whole packet has just 40g in it and there are 18 ingredients. If you divided the ingredients up this would mean that the whole packet is 4 heaped teaspoons and if brown sugar is 1/18 of that then that is 0.4 Syns for the whole dish. Then (if you are still with me) that would mean each portion would be a 10th of a Syn. So hardly worth even counting!
You could also serve it with green peppers but we prefer it without.
