One of my biggest ever foodie addictions in the Milner household is the Brazilian barbecue. If you have not experienced one then you MUST as it is a meat lovers dream. It is where they serve up lots of different cuts of meat in a garlic marinade at your table. They literally keep feeding you until you BEG them to stop.
It varies from restaurant to restaurant with what you actually get, but usually you can expect thick Brazilian sausages and several varieties of red meat. My favourite is always the sirloin that is so garlicky that I can’t stop at 3 slices.
But then the meal finishes on fresh pineapple. It is a case of you always make sure that you have enough room for the warm pineapple.
It will be warm rather than overcooked and will have a delicious cinnamon flavour. Dominic has never really been a fan of cinnamon, but with this it is a small portion rather than overpowering and tastes so, so good.

Best Ever Airfryer Fries Recipes
If you have read my blog for a while you will know that I absolutely love fries. My blog is famous for the Airfryer recipes and with Airfryers being originally made for fries, it is no wonder that I have a few.
I decided to put together some honey glazed pineapple fries, because I am often on Paleo and want something really sweet to eat that is Paleo approved without having to get out the coconut flour.
For many people coconut flour can be hard to use so if you can find a sweet alternative without using it, then it will make life so much easier. Plus I love coconut but I prefer it in a savoury dish (think Thai curries) rather than in Paleo cookies.
Plus these pineapple fries are so easy to make, you will wonder why you didn’t make them for the last few years.

Airfryer Honey Glazed Pineapple Fries
Airfryer Honey Glazed Pineapple Fries
- If your pineapple is still whole, peel and chip the pineapple into chunky chip shapes.
- Place the grill pan into your Airfryer and line up the fries into your grill pan so that they are in a long neat row and there are no gaps.
- Cook in the Airfryer at 200c/390f for 3 minutes.
- Then using tongs turn them over and cook for another 3 minutes (at the same temperature) on the other side.
- Remove the grill pan from the Airfryer and sprinkle the pineapple fries in cinnamon. Then glaze them with a pastry brush with the honey.
- Serve them immediately while they are still warm.

How Many Calories In Pineapple?
The benefit of these Airfryer pineapple fries, is not only are they just 3 ingredients but they are low in calories too. So perfect for that sweet tooth when you’re on Paleo and so natural too.
A portion of these pineapple fries work out at just 94 calories per person. Just imagine having three portions of these a day if you are on the 5:2 or on another calorie controlled diet.
Paleo Pineapple Fries
So you are on Paleo. You want to eat more healthy, you have given up on your favourite cookies, favourite chocolate biscuits and most of all your favourite chocolate cake.
Then the sugar cravings hit you and you want something as fast as buying a doughnut from the supermarket = add these 3 simple ingredients, warm it up in the Airfryer and then you have the most amazing pineapple fries.
Though, don’t eat it when your kids are about as they WILL eat them ALL!
