Welcome to “how to make Mac & Cheese in the soup maker”.
I don’t know about you but I am a HUGE mac and cheese fan. I grew up on it. My aunt used to make the best ever pasta and cheese sauce and like any greedy kid I would always go back for seconds.
I also spent a lot of my childhood as a vegetarian and it was often the staple food if you wanted a meat free dish.
Then there were the cans of it for when my mum didn’t cook me a meal from scratch. Looking back now they are disgusting especially when you take into account how long it actually takes to make mac & cheese.
In this recipe though, we will be speeding up the process even quicker with a very easy one pot soup maker option.
Just think hardly any washing up, no boiling so the pasta is not losing its flavour and best of all, it tastes amazing!
You can of course adapt this recipe as you choose to make a whole range of other pasta and sauce dishes.

I notice that some of the recipes require ingredients that would not reach the minimum level. I have the Morphy Richards Sauté soup maker. Would these recipes be ok to use in it?
Hi Marilyn,
I have done the Mac and cheese 2 times with the same soup maker and not had any problems, also I have done many recipes below the minimum level and not had issues but do not ever fill it above the maximum ?
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any issues.
Kind Regards
Sam
