I am trying to think of the first time I ever tried porridge but I really can’t remember. I know it was a staple breakfast in my Grandparents house (well until they discovered museli) and it would always be cooked to perfection by my Grandma.
Then years later I remember my mum and dad having it for breakfast when they were on a diet and were looking for new diet inspiration. Then it came with water and looked disgusting and really didn’t do it for me!
Then years later I discovered this version of porridge. It was flavoured and Dominic would buy it from the supermarket. Dominic later had an allergy to it so loads of it was left around the house for me. All of a sudden I couldn’t give up this delicious golden syrup flavoured porridge and ended up having it for breakfast for years.
That was until I was on an anti-processed food diet lifestyle and I gave it up.
Then the idea of porridge seemed like a hard task that would take hours, well that was until this modern electric pressure cooker entered my life…..
