Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings
Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings in the air fryer have been on my to do list for a long, long time. I just love the flavours of Jamaica, especially jerk seasoning, but then something else comes up and my Jerk wings get forgotten about again.
Well 3 ladies have made my Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings come to life and they are all from Jamaica.
2 of the ladies are behind the brand Tan Rosie which is the brand of jerk seasoning that I have used. They also have a wonderful Caribbean cookery book that I can’t stop reading. I am sure after reading it again and again that it won’t be long before we are on vacation in Jamaica!
The 3rd lady is my Twitter BFF. I adore her and she is such a sweet and amazing lady that I truly admire. I met her on Twitter, and we have chatted with each other every week for a few years now.
Think pen pals but Twitter pals. We also plan to meet up soon too. She has shared so many foodie stories with me and has turned me into a West Indies food addict.
Therefore, I dedicate these delicious Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings to these 3 amazing ladies. AND A BIG THANK YOU TO THEM.
If you love jerk chicken and want to take it to the air fryer, then read on to see how easy it is to make Air Fryer Jerk Chicken Wings!

Authentic Jerk Wings Recipe
Well note that I just said that this jerk chicken wings recipe is dedicated to 3 women. Well the women behind Tan Rosie created a delicious Jamaican Jerk Rub and that is exactly what I have used in this jerk wings recipe.
You really can’t get any more authentic than true Caribbean people, can you?
You can buy this authentic jerk wings rub here or this is one I recommend if you live outside of Europe.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings Ingredients

To make delicious Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings with a dry rub you only need 2 ingredients:
There is nothing else that you need to add and even better you can make them with ZERO washing up.
Simply break open your package of chicken wings and add the rub directly in the packaging and toss them until they are well coated.

Then cook them in the air fryer!
Jerk Barbecue Wings Recipe
However, if you wanted to turn your jerk dry rub jerk wings into jerk barbecue wings, you would just need to add extra ingredients at the end of the cooking process.
The barbecue sauce the honey would give it that sticky glaze that we all know and love. Then the jerk and garlic would give it that spectacular Jamaican flavour.

Then when the air fryer has finished cooking your Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings you can brush your barbecue sauce over your chicken wings. Or use it for dipping for your wings as you eat them. The choice is yours!
Or the plan B, which is how my daughter like them, is coated in barbecue sauce with some tomato ketchup for dipping.
