But today is all about frozen pierogies in the air fryer.
I first heard of pierogies when Poland joined the EU. Just like we moved to Portugal from England for better opportunities, a couple of decades ago many Polish people moved to England for the same reason.
Up until that point I had never tried any Eastern European food and OMG it was delicious.
I remember how excited I would get when another Polish supermarket opened, and it was like a treasure trove learning lots of new food.
But out of all the Eastern European food I tried when in England it was the pierogies that stood out from the crowd.
However, they never tasted as good when you heated them at home compared to a Polish café and that is why pierogies were meant to be air fried.

Can You Air Fry Frozen Pierogies?
Absolutely! Not only can you air fry frozen pierogies but they cook much better than other methods. You see the traditional and popular method for cooking pierogies is to parboil them.
You need to parboil your pierogies to an exact time and often your frozen pierogies will come out soggy and taste rather awful.
But forget the method of parboiling when it comes to air fryer pierogies. Instead they are tossed in extra virgin olive oil and come out crispy and yummy and don’t have a rubbery of soggy texture.
