Welcome to my best ever soft white chocolate chip cookies in the Airfryer recipe.
Did you know that there is a national white chocolate day later this month? Well I didn’t either, but in my mind it is a great excuse to eat more white chocolate chip cookies!
You wouldn’t think so with all the cookie and biscuit recipes that we have on Recipe This but I was a late bloomer when it came to cookies.
I had my first on holiday in America and have had many more ever since.
Its not that I was ever against them, it is just that with European bakeries doing so many different sweet treats I would get really fat if I started eating all the American biscuits and cookies as well!
I remember the first time I had a chocolate cookie at Disney World. The size of it was absolutely enormous and I had to share it with Kyle.
Clearly he helped me finish it and didn’t leave a single crumb.
So when I am talking about portion sizes further down in the recipe I am talking British style so divide it into three if you like your cookies to be really big!
Plus thanks to the lovely taste that comes with white chocolate you don’t need as much of it as you would with regular milk chocolate so they can be frugal too!
When I make these delicious white chocolate chip cookies what I tend to do is use some cheap white chocolate that I have just bought from the supermarket and allow it to go a little soft and then break it up into tiny bits with my fingers.
It gives a lovely mixture of chocolate bits in the cookies rather than how I usually just bash up a half frozen bar of milk chocolate.
