Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place the gluten free bread flour, the olive oil and the 450ml of water into the bread machine. Add the yeast powder to the top.
  • Set the bread machine to the dough setting and let the bread machine do all the hard work.
  • When the bread machine has finished, put the pizza ring dough onto a floured worktop. Flour your hands.
  • Make it into medium sized bread bun shapes.
  • Grease your baking pan with a little olive oil so that your pizza ring will not stick.
  • In a bowl add to it the garlic puree, the extra olive oil and the parsley as well as the salt and pepper. Mix well until you have a well-mixed garlic paste.
  • Cover each of the pizza ring balls in the mixture until they are well coated.
  • Place each of them around the edge of the pizza pan and centre a ramekin in the middle so that you can create your pizza pan.
  • Cook at 175c/350f for 9 minutes.
  • 10. Remove from the baking pan and serve.

Notes

Many gluten free bread flours have everything in them and then you don’t need to add much to it. It saves a lot of measuring and gluten free bread flour is often cheaper than a lot of wholemeal alternatives. This is the pizza pan we use. It is perfect because it fits perfectly into our grill pan inside our Air Fryer.

When you are dealing with a gluten free bread dough it does look very wet and rather awful looking. I would compare it to how cooked porridge looks before you serve it. You deal with this by making sure your hands are well floured and that when you roll it into balls you add a little extra gluten free bread flour as you make them.

I would estimate that the extra gluten free bread flour that I used was approximately 50g. This was for my hands, the worktop as well as a little extra to be able to make the dough into balls. Some people use bundt pans but you don’t really need one, unless you want one for other recipes too.

Instead a ramekin upside down and adding your bread dough pieces around it, also works very well. This bread machine paleo pizza ring made enough to make 2 pizza rings. You can either save it for later or cook it straight after the first in the air fryer.
