  • Peel and slice your avocado. Cut 3 of your avocado slices into small cubes and leave the rest as whole slices.
  • Place your minced chicken in a mixing bowl and add to it your Mexican seasoning and your chunks of avocado.
  • Mix the ingredients well and form into chicken burger patty shapes.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 180c/360f for 12 minutes.
  • Serve with potato wedges for that ideal Mexican meal.

Notes

I served my chicken avocado burgers with potato wedges that were also cooked in the air fryer. Here is our white potato version for Whole30 followers, or our sweet potato version for Paleo followers.
The Mexican seasoning we use is this one. Its our favourite and not overly spicy. We find that for every 2 burgers we make that one tablespoon is a good amount of seasoning. Because it is minced chicken and not beef, it can be a bit sticky when mixing.
The best thing is to flour your hands first and then the minced chicken wont stick to your hands. If you want to make more of our chicken avocado burgers at once, then remember these measurements. ½ Tbsp of Mexican seasoning, 200g of avocado and 200g of minced chicken per burger.
You can use any type of minced chicken. We used minced chicken thighs. But we normally find this difficult to find and often just ground up some spare chicken breast.
We have found the best place to source minced chicken(chicken thighs) to make Chicken Avocado Burgers In The Air Fryer is from ButcherBox. You even receive free bacon and $10 off your first order when you sign up with this link.
