Homemade Italian Seasoning

A delicious homemade Italian seasoning blend. It is perfect for taking travelling with you for using in Instant Pot recipes.

  • Place all the ingredients in a plastic storage container. Stir well with a teaspoon and then place the lid on tightly so that no air escapes.
  • Use as you need it.

Notes

I buy my dried onion and garlic together. But if you get them separate half the ingredient for each so that you can have an equal blend. You can also use this recipe for when you are at home and want a mixed Italian seasoning for the cupboard. Then it can save you time during meal prep.
 
I suggest trying it once it is done. Then if it needs more salt then add more and adjust for your own personal taste. You can also make more of less depending on your portion size requirements. I also add the salt and pepper last and add a bit at a time so that I can taste test it. I found that 3 teaspoons of pepper and 2 teaspoons of salt was enough.
