You will love these air fryer flapjacks. These healthier flapjacks use the air fryer for the prep and for the cooking and come together all in one silicone pan.
Let’s cook an air fryer flapjack. Place butter into the silicone container, add syrup (honey or golden syrup or half of each) and then air fry for 4 minutes at 120c/250f or until the butter is almost melted.
Then stir the butter mixture.
Next pour the butter mixture into a bowl that already has the porridge oats and the brown sugar in it and give it a really good stir until its completely mixed together.
Add the oats mix into the silicone pan and then press down with the bottom of a spoon to level it.
Air fry your flapjack mixture for 20 minutes at 160c/320f or until golden on top and firm on touch.
Notes
Cool. You can’t cut the flapjack mixture until its cold and then had chance to fully set. You can speed this up by freezing it for 30 minutes after cooking. I will put it on a plate first so that its easy to transfer to the freezer and the plate wont break. Thanks for reading flapjacks in air fryer recipe on Recipe This.
