Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Easy peasy turkey breast cooked in the slow cooker. With a quick seasoning, just put it on and forget about it. Shred it when cooked for the ultimate slow cooker turkey breast experience.

  • Place your turkey breast into the bottom of your slow cooker and season it with lots of salt and pepper.
  • Pour over a can of tinned tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle over the top the seasonings and place the lid on the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours.
  • Once the slow cooker turkey breast is cooked, use shredders to shred the breast. Though if its cool enough it will come apart in your hands.
  • Remove half the juices from the slow cooker, place the turkey breast back in and cook for a final 20 minutes on low.
  • Serve with vegetables for a healthy dinner.

Notes

Our turkey breast was just over 2 kilos, but any size that fits is fine. We had our shredded turkey breast with courgettes and spinach, but you could use any. You could also serve it in wraps or over pasta or noodles.
