  • Preheat your air fryer to 200c/400f.

  • In a blender or food processor add your white bread buns and blend until they resemble breadcrumbs. Add in your seasonings and blend again until well mixed. Place the breadcrumbs into a second medium bowl.
  • If adding parmesan cheese pour it into the second bowl and lightly mix with a fork.
  • Place your fresh ravioli into the egg first and then into the breadcrumbs bowl until well coated.
  • Place each ravioli piece into the air fryer grill pan.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 200c/400f for 3 minutes.
  • Serve with garlic mayonnaise.

Notes

This air fryer cheese ravioli recipe will work with any ravioli filling just as long as they are of a similar size, otherwise you would need to adjust the cooking time.
You can add parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs, or another Italian cheese, though it is not essential.
The air fryer basket is not good for this type of food as the breading goes through the holes too much. Instead I recommend either the air fryer grill pan or an air fryer baking mat.
We used our bread maker bread buns in this recipe, but you could use supermarket bought bread, or some leftover sliced bread. Though it works best with crusty bread as it gives a better texture to the breadcrumbs.
