Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls In The Air Fryer
Delicious Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls in the air fryer. Make ahead your own air fryer stuffing and then cook your homemade stuffing in the air fryer when you’re ready. Loaded with your favourite stuffing ingredients including butter, sausage meat and bread. This is a true family roast dinner favourite in our house.
Air Fryer Stuffing Balls Ingredients:
- 450 g Sausage Meat
- 25 g Butter
- ½ Small White Onion
- ½ Medium Bread Roll
- 2 Tbsp Sage
- Salt & Pepper
- Extra Breadcrumbs For Binding optional
Using a vegetable knife chop your bread roll into small chunks. Also peel and thinly dice your onion. Get your butter and chop it into small chunks.
Place all your ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well.
Make into small to medium sized sage and onion stuffing balls.
Place in the fridge for an hour to chill and firm up.
Cook for 10 minutes in the air fryer basket at 180c/360f.
Your bread chunks from your bread roll needs to be about the same size as a crouton.
I always have a spare supply of breadcrumbs in the freezer. Then using my fingers, I can break a bit away and use it whenever I need some for a quick recipe. Next time your kids don’t eat their crusts, or you have a spare slice of bread add it to your freezer supply.
For you to be able to handle the butter and mix it and chop it, its important that it is chilled and not at room temperature.
Our air fryer stuffing balls are perfect for make ahead cooking. You can fridge them for up to 3 days or freeze them for later.
