Air Fryer Frozen Butterfly Shrimp Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Remove your frozen butterfly shrimp from the packaging, carefully discarding any loose pieces of shrimp batter.
  • Place your butterfly shrimp into the air fryer. Though make sure they are not overcrowded and there is room for them to cook.
  • Spray the tops of your frozen butterfly shrimp with olive oil.
  • Set the temperature to 180c/360f and the time for 10 minutes.
  • When it beeps serve with your favourite sides.

Notes

By spraying the tops of the air fryer frozen shrimp with olive oil it helps them remain moist and gives a golden glow to your butterfly shrimp. Well worth doing.
I cooked 20 frozen butterfly shrimp at once in my air fryer basket. If you have a bigger air fryer or a smaller air fryer, adjust depending on how many you can cook at once. Though you don’t want them to be on top of each other.
If you live in the UK, you may know your butterfly shrimp as popcorn shrimp.
