Nandos Beanie Burgers are a family favourite in the Milners. We love the black bean taste with the spicy Nandos marinade. It is also very healthy for our under 3s.
Drain the black beans via a sieve and remove any excess liquid.
Place the sliced bread into a blender and make into breadcrumbs.
Peel and dice the garlic and onions.
In a mixing bowl place the breadcrumbs, all the seasoning, black beans, onions and garlic.
Add the lime, spoon in the marinade and mix well.
Make into 6 medium shaped burgers. Fridge for an hour to help them keep their shapes.
Cook in the Airfryer at 175c/347f for 12 minutes.
Serve inside bread buns with salad garnish and some homemade ketchup.
Notes
Always fridge your vegan burgers for at least an hour so that they can form a good shape.I always use a mix of white and red onions. It gives a much better flavour and if you can get them use spring onions too.If you like your Nandos Beanie Burger better spiced then add a little more of the marinade.
