Nandos Chicken Wings In The Airfryer

Nandos Chicken Wings made with a spicy homemade spicy sauce, marinated overnight and then perfectly cooked until truly crispy in the Airfryer.

  • Place your chicken wings onto a large piece of silver foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper from above (from shoulder length) so that they are well covered.
  • Add to them a quarter of your marinade and mix well so that all the chicken is well covered.
  • Place the rest of your marinade into a big serving dish ready for the next day.
  • Seal up the silver foil and fridge overnight.
  • The next day remove the chicken wings from the silver foil and place them inside the baking pan inside the Airfryer.
  • Cook for 20 minutes on 180c/356f and then serve with your spare marinade as dipping sauce.

Notes

I have suggested that you use 275ml of homemade Nandos marinade. This is basically half of my recipe and is enough for cooking with and some extra for dipping with.
My chicken wings packs are about 1 kilo (2.2 pounds) and has 12 medium sized chicken wings in the pack.
The dipping sauce (because tomato sauce is within the marinade) will be like the chilled Spanish tapas sauce and you will love it for dunking your chicken wings.
You can also freeze any leftover marinade for future Nando home meals.
As sizes of your chicken wings can vary from pack to pack, they were cooked at 18 minutes but we gave them a shake and another 2 minutes to give allowances for the bigger ones, as it is important that your chicken is well cooked.
