Chop your butternut squash in half. Rub olive oil over the flesh part and sprinkle with salt, pepper and rub in the garlic puree.
Place in the slow cooker for 2 hours on a high heat for 3.5 hours on a low heat.
Once cooked remove the seeds and serve.

The amazing this about this is that its identical cooking time between the oven and the slow cooker. So if you don’t have a slow cooker or are cooking other things in your oven then you can choose where you cook it. I prefer the slow cooker though as I feel that with the slow cooking ability the flavour is amazing.For a good snack after cooking it cut it into wedges like how you have melon.
