Simple Avocado Chow Mein Recipe

Welcome to my simple avocado chow mein recipe. I am a huge Chinese food addict. It started when I was 11 years old and my mum first introduced me to Chinese food.

Instructions

  • Using your spiralizer make your courgettes into zoodles and put to one side.
  • In your wok add the onion, garlic and ginger and cook on a medium heat with the olive oil.
  • Chop your avocado in half. Slice one half and mash up the other. Add the mashed side to the wok along with the different herbs and spices. And mix well.
  • Add the courgette zoodles and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  • Add the rest of the avocado that you have sliced up and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  • Serve!

Notes

If you want less cream and a more juicer base then I would recommend that you add some extra olive oil and some extra soy sauce. Always go for light soy sauce as it has a lot less salt in it and is better for you.
