Stab your baked potatoes with a fork and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
Insert the steamer rack into the Instant Pot and pour a cup of boiling water over it.
Place your potatoes into a steamer dish.
Add your potatoes.
Put the lid on, set to sealing and press manual for 30 minutes.
Once complete quickly remove pressure so that they don’t carry on cooking.
Serve with your choice of toppings.
Notes
Always make sure that the baked potatoes you choose are roughly the same size. Otherwise you will end up with some that are like mash and others that are undercooked. I always add boiling water to the Instant Pot as it speeds up the time that it takes to go to pressure.You can cook up to 2 kilos/4.5lbs at once in the Instant Pot. It is always best to cook your Instant Pot baked potatoes in a steamer tray/dish. This way they don’t have a soggy texture when cooked.
