Air fryer Syn Free Chickpea Curry Recipe

The best ever Syn Free Slimming World Vegetarian Curry. Cooked in the Airfryer, loaded with chickpeas and perfect for SP meals or days.

  • Thoroughly drain your chickpeas and then place them into your Airfryer baking pan. Then place the baking pan inside your Airfryer and cook for 8 minutes on 180c/360f.
  • In a food processor or a blender blitz 80% of the onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies, the rest of your seasonings until rough but not smooth.
  • Place the leftover onion in the baking pan with the chickpeas and dry fry for 2 more minutes at the same temperature.
  • When it beeps add to it the blended curry paste, a little salt and pepper, quark, give it a good stir and cook for 5 more minutes on 160c/320f.
  • Serve.

Notes

This chana masala is also traditionally made with tomatoes. If you wanted you can add these too, but with the curry paste, the chickpeas and the onion it is really not needed so I have added this an optional extra.
