Instant Pot Mexican Black Beans & Rice Recipe
Delicious Instant Pot Mexican Black Beans & Rice. Perfect for a quick healthy comfort food lunch or dinner.
Using a sieve give your black beans a thorough rinse and then remove any excess moisture.
Place all the ingredients into the Instant Pot and stir into it 375ml of warm water.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, set the lid to sealing and cook on manual for 20 minutes.
Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure (NPR) for 10 minutes and then serve.
If making this with white rice then use the same amount in white rice, but use 300ml of water instead of 375ml. I find it very useful to have a kitchen essentials set for cooking with. That way you will find it really easy to put in and take out your rice from your Instant Pot.
