Grilled Shrimp Marinade Recipe

Welcome to my grilled shrimp marinade. If you’re looking for a marinade for grilled shrimp that you can just throw on the grill, the barbecue, the Instant Pot or even the Crockpot then this grilled shrimp marinade is the marinade of your dreams.

  • In a mixing bowl peel your garlic bulb and the cloves and cut each of the garlic cloves into quarters.
  • Grate the rind of the lemons and add it to the bowl with the juice of the lemons. Add the soy sauce, honey and olive oil too.
  • Make sure the shrimp is well cleaned and add it to the marinade. Season it all well with salt and pepper.
  • Finely chop and add your fresh garlic chives.
  • Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the fridge for at least an hour before cooking with.

Notes

I recommend that you marinade the shrimp with peeled shrimp. I have done it with skin on and off and off makes it much easier for serving up later. Even though you have peeled your shrimp you still need to give the shrimp a good clean. When you’re ready to cook your grilled shrimp then discard the marinade and cook on the grill.
