- Pack Frozen Egg Rolls
- 1 Small Egg
Crack your egg into a small bowl and beat it with a fork. Using a pastry brush, brush the tops of your egg rolls with egg until the frozen egg roll tops are well coated.
Cook in the air fryer grill pan for 8 minutes at 160c/320f. Turn the frozen egg rolls over and brush the other side with more egg and cook for a further 8 minutes at the same temperature.
Crispy. The egg wash makes quite a difference. They look so pale and unwell otherwise. Or as Dominic puts it “anaemic”. You can cook as many frozen egg rolls that will fit in your air fryer. Aim for at least 4 and then rinse and repeat this recipe until you run out of frozen egg rolls.
Spray. You can also use an extra virgin olive oil spray instead. Simply spray it onto your pastry and it will help make your egg rolls crispier.
