Instant Pot Baby Parsnips

Instant Pot baby parsnips are perfect for steaming in the Instant Pot pressure cooker. They take only a few short minutes and then you have perfect baby parsnips for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 6 Baby Parsnips
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Top and tail the baby parsnips and peel them with your Julienne Peeler.
  • Place the parsnips inside of the Instant Pot steamer basket and lower into the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
  • Pour a cup of cold water over the parsnips.
  • Place the lid on the Instant Pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for 4 minutes on manual.
  • When it beeps use QPR (quick pressure release).
  • Remove the parsnips from the Instant Pot and place on a clean chopping board. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve.

Notes

You can mix and match with the parsnips seasoning, depending on what flavours you like/dislike. If you don’t use cold water, it can come to pressure too quick and the end result is undercooked parsnips.
