Smartie Cookies Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180c/360f.
  • Mix the cocoa powder, self raising flour and caster sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  • Rub the butter into the flour until you have a mixture that resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  • Add the vanilla essence and milk and mix well.
  • Add in your smarties bit by bit and then knead your cookie dough until it is nice and soft and forms a big ball.
  • Roll out your mixture and using a cookie cutter form into nice cookie shapes.
  • Place some extra smarties onto the top of the cookies so that they are half in the cookie and still visible.
  • Place the cookies into the air fryer on a silicone baking mat and cook for ten minutes at 180c/360f.
  • Serve with warm milk.

Notes

If you don’t have smarties look at what other kids’ chocolate, you have in and add it to the mixture. Your kids will forgive for stealing their chocolate if you make them awesome cookies.
If its Christmas I recommend adding in some green food colouring and using just green smarties, that way you can make grinch cookies instead.
