Air Fryer Tuna Steak. How to cook air fryer tuna steaks either from fresh or frozen. A perfect low carb healthy Mediterranean lunch served with seasoned cherry tomatoes and inspired by my favourite Gordon Ramsay recipe.

Instructions

  • Season tuna steaks with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  • Season cherry tomatoes with basil and salt and pepper. Drizzle a small amount of extra virgin olive oil over your cherry tomatoes.
  • Place the tuna steaks into your air fryer basket and fill the gaps with your cherry tomatoes.
  • Cook for 7 minutes at 190c/380f
  • After 7 minutes check to see if the tuna steak is cooked. If not cook for a further 2 minutes on the same temperature.
  • Then follow this process if your tuna steaks are thick.
  • Serve.

Notes

I found that a one inch thick tuna steak needed to be cooked for 9 minutes but it will vary between 7 and 11 minutes depending on the size of your tuna.
