No Drain Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes
Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes. How to make not only the most delicious mashed potatoes, but how to make no drain instant pot mashed potatoes. They are creamy, they are addictive, and the prep time is fast.
Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes Ingredients:
Quarter clean white potatoes and load into the instant pot. Season the potatoes well with salt.
Pour in vegetable stock.
Place the lid on the instant pot and set the valve to sealing.
Cook for 20 minutes and then do 5 minutes natural pressure release, prior to releasing pressure.
Stir with a fork to make sure all liquid has been mixed in and that you don’t need to drain your potatoes.
Add in other ingredients and mash with a potato masher.
Because of the way the water soaks into the potatoes, no drain mash requires less butter than traditional mashed potatoes recipes. But you can add a little at a time and adjust to your taste.
You can mix and match favourite mashed potatoes ingredients. Just note that butter and milk are to be added after cooking not before.
