Instant Pot Ham Tetrazzini. How to make a delicious ham tetrazzini from scratch without canned soup. Loaded with favourite tetrazzini casserole ingredients including plenty of melted cheese, cream cheese, leftover ham, wholegrain pasta, and coconut milk.
Peel and dice a white onion and sauté in the instant pot with extra virgin olive oil. Cancel sauté.
Stir in garlic puree and deglaze with white wine. Stir in a can of coconut milk, add 600ml of water or ham stock and your wholegrain pasta.
Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for 3 minutes on manual. Follow this up with 3 minutes of natural pressure release. Then manually release pressure.
Load in seasonings, cream cheese, skimmed milk, cheddar cheese, sweetcorn, leftover ham, and peas. Stir well until the cheese has melted.
Load onto plates and serve.
Notes
Heat. The instant pot carries a lot of heat after a pressure cook. I stirred in the add ins without having to return to sauté. If its not hot enough go back to sauté for a couple of minutes.No Drain. Note that the pasta is no drain. Therefore, you can start adding the ingredients without having to drain the pasta first.Favourite. Go with your favourite cheese or what cheese you have in.
