Moist Maker Sandwich. How to make a delicious, Friends thanksgiving sandwich in the air fryer aka Ross Geller’s Moist Maker. Includes the famous moist maker layer and the sandwich is warmed up in the air fryer for that dream thanksgiving leftover treat.
I always start by making the bottom layer of the sandwich. Butter your bread, add a layer of turkey breast, tomatoes and a layer of stuffing.
Next add a slice of bread into your instant pot and soak both sides in your cold turkey gravy.
Add the moist maker onto your bottom slice of your sandwich and now add more turkey above the moist maker, some mayonnaise, and some sliced tomatoes. Place the lid on your sandwich.
Very carefully, so that it doesn’t break, place your turkey sandwich in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes at 160c/320f.
Next serve the turkey moist maker while still warm. Though if your bread slices are thick like ours, you will need a napkin or two.
Notes
Optional. Use whatever leftovers you have that work well in a turkey sandwich. I love stuffing, but you might prefer extra salad instead.Careful. Note that the bread gets very fragile when it has been soaked in the gravy. You might want to use both hands when you lift it out of the instant pot.Cold. Make sure your turkey gravy is cold and that your bread is cold. Otherwise the bread will break, and the turkey gravy will cause the bread to crumble. Thanks for reading our air fryer moist maker recipe on Recipe This.
