  • Start by sauteing your diced onion in the slow cooker with the ground minced beef and extra virgin olive oil.

Notes

Variations. Remember, you can follow any of these leftover mac and cheese recipes I have suggested. But note, slow cooker Bolognese mac and cheese is aimed at lots of leftovers, whilst the others are for a small leftover portion.
Milk. I recommend skimmed milk for making your dry leftover pasta moist again, but if you want creamy go with coconut milk or cream cheese such as Philadelphia.
