Avocado Mango Smoothie Recipe

A healthy summer smoothie perfect for babies and toddlers. Featuring coconut milk, honey and fresh avocado and mango.

  • Remove the stones and the skins from the avocado and mango. Peel the banana and dice it.
  • Place the coconut milk, banana, the honey and 6 ice cubes into your blender and blend until smooth. Put ½ to one side and leave the rest in the blender.
  • Add the avocado to the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Fill your moulds and your smoothie drink cups with the bottom avocado layer from the blender and place in the freezer for an hour to set.
  • Rinse clean your blender.
  • Add the coconut mixture (reserved from earlier) back to your blender along with the mango and blend until smooth.
  • Fill your containers with the mango layer.
  • Place in the fridge to cool and serve an hour later.

Notes

Because of the big stones you will lose a lot for your mango so it is always best to use double the mangos to avocados. The great thing about this recipe is that you don’t need any weighing scales for this recipe + you could also change the fruit to what you have in. This batch makes a really big 1 litre supply of smoothie mix. I made use a smoothie each (for 4 of us) plus all my ice cream moulds too. You don’t have to use bananas, but I find that it makes the smoothie thicker and have less of a juicing texture.
