How To Make French Toast In The Airfryer

Sugary, cinnamon flavoured French toast pieces cooked in the Airfryer. Easy, quick and most importantly….simple.

  • Place the egg and the milk into a mixing bowl and whisk with a fork until well mixed.
  • In a shallow bowl mix together the sugar and cinnamon and then put to one side.
  • Chop the bread into medium sized pieces and then place into the egg bowl.
  • Make sure each piece of bread is well submerged in the mixture. Then remove any excess liquid from each and place all the bread into the Airfryer in the grill pan.
  • Cook for 3 minutes on each side at 180c/360f in the Airfryer.
  • When the Airfryer beeps toss the bread (using tongs) in the sugar and cinnamon and then serve.

Notes

Please make sure you remove the excess liquid from the bread before cooking it otherwise it will end up soggy when cooked.
 
Also make sure that your bread is stale or leave it out in the sun for a couple of hours, otherwise it wont be hard enough and will just have the soggy effect. The thickness of the French bread slices is the same as a double slice of wholemeal bread (if put together).
