Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts. Make the most delicious Brussel Sprouts in the Instant Pot in JUST 4 minutes.

So delicious, so full of flavour and you will never want to cook your Brussel Sprouts any other way once you have tried our Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts.

My Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts are vegan friendly, vegetarian friendly, Paleo friendly and Whole30 friendly.

Love them or loathe them Brussel Sprouts are so quick to cook in the Instant Pot. Just cook them with a small amount of water and they then steam in just 4 minutes for a big bag of them.

Dominic and I are part of the love brigade.

We will fight over the last Brussel Sprouts just like you would over the last roast potatoes and we would be heartbroken if Christmas Dinner or Thanksgiving didn’t involve Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts.

Kyle on the other hand loathes them. Is disgusted at the thought of having to eat Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts and avoids them like they are the plague.

At Christmas it was usually the last thing that we cooked before we served up Christmas Dinner.

We would cook them in some boiling water on the hob, then toss them in salt, pepper and melted butter when cooked.

They were the best!

But there was one problem with our Brussel Sprouts….every time you cook Brussel Sprouts using the boiling method they will lose flavour.

They taste like every bit of flavour has been wiped from it. Plus, from a nutrition point of view, boiling vegetables loses their vitamins and you’re much better off steaming them.

However, if you cook Brussel Sprouts in the Instant Pot it tastes like real Brussel Sprouts and not some mushy tasteless rubbish.

The way we do them is we cook a bag of them at once.

We will reduce the size of the root so that when cooked they are not as hard. Then we will peel off the top layer.

This then stops them from being so gritty from the soil and removes any bad bits in case they have been on the supermarket shelf for a while.

Then we place them in the Instant Pot with a cup of water and let the Instant Pot do all the work for us.

If you haven’t got an Instant Pot yet, then we recommend that you do, they are an amazing kitchen gadget and we cook a whole variety of meals in it.

Then when they are cooked you can serve them however you like your Instant Pot Brussel Sprouts.

We love ours with butter along with some salt and pepper. But if today wasn’t Meatless Monday, I would be shouting at you to add some bacon to the mix.
