Welcome to my Instant Pot Soup Recipes. I am sharing with you the top 7 genius ways to use the Instant Pot soup function.
All of these Instant Pot recipes are very easy to prepare and cook and you will be wondering why you haven’t cooked these recipes already.
My first memories of soup was always my grandad making it for me. He had his own allotment growing his own fruit and vegetables. I used to love his cabbage, his carrots and my all time favourite was his cherry tomatoes.
He would throw it all into the pan and make the best ever soup with it.
Though you needed a lot of water as he would be having a beer at the same time and would often forget that he had already salted it.
But now in this modern age we have the Instant Pot and we no longer need to spend hours over a hot stove waiting for our soup to be cooked.
Plus in the old days (even though soup was nice) the vegetables was always boiled and it lost its great flavour. Yet with the Instant Pot they are steamed rather than boiled and they taste so much better.
But I wonder what my Grandad would have thought of gadgets like the Instant Pot when he just had a couple of large pans and a scruffy looking frying pan that was always filled with lard.
The Instant Pot Soup Function

But quite often you realise that you just use it as a pressure cooker and most of the things you cook are done on manual or steam.
Over the next few weeks I want to show you that you can make amazing dishes with the actual buttons and that they can make your life so much better.
Today we are exploring the soup function. To see what delicious soups we can make in the Instant Pot and to say that there is more to the soup maker function than a traditional vegetable soup.
