Welcome to my
soup maker skinny celery soup.
Celery is known for being low calorie. It is so low calorie that if you eat celery it is considered as a negative food because you burn more calories eating it, then what calories is in it.
This of course doesn’t apply to soup because you are having it in the blended. But even though it is blended it is still really low in calories and a fantastic soup option.
Another reason to eat celery soup is that it is really cheap and you can have a family frugal meal for very little cost.
I know prices vary from country to country but here in Portugal the ingredients to make soup below that would feed four would cost be about $0.80 for the entire soup.
Though you have got to like celery to enjoy it as it rather a strong flavour.

Chop up for celery into centimetre pieces and place them in the soup maker.
Dice your onion and carrots and add these too.
Add the water and seasoning then place on the cook and blend function for 25 minutes.
Add the soft cheese, blend again and serve!
Because of the type of food celery is, when made into soup it is too watery. Therefore add some soft cheese to thicken it up like I have done.
